　　【析句】本句为复合句，主从句结构十分明显。主句Your humor must be...and should help to show them，主语是your humor，有两个并列的谓语结构must be relevant to the audience 和 should help。第二个谓语结构后也有两个并列的that引导的宾语从句，分别是that you are one of them, that you understand...and are in sympathy with...。

　　【析句】句子的主干是If you are part...group, you will be in a position...problems and it'll be appropriate...ties, if引导条件状语从句，主句由两个并列的简单句构成。从句中，有定语从句which you are addressing;主句的第一个简单句中也有which引导的定语从句which are common to all of you；第二个简单句中没有从句，it作形式主语，真正的主语是后面的不定式to make a passing remark about...ties。
